Release date and consoles
GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar Games' official site. Pre-orders are open, and the launch trailer was released on October 15, 2026.
No PC version has been announced so far: the official site only lists those two consoles. It also carries a "Plays best on PlayStation 5" label and links to a page of PlayStation-specific benefits.
The pre-order bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack
Pre-ordering GTA 6 gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack, a set of bonuses paying tribute to the Vice City of the '80s. Rockstar pitches it as a flashback to when the neon burned brightest.
It includes a two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and its garage, Shore Court, a stone's throw from the sands of Ocean Beach. According to Rockstar, the garage features a weapon locker plus a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced.
On top of that come retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia (a pastel linen suit for him, a red sequin mini dress for her) and a tropical pattern for most guns, inspired by Tommy Vercetti's palm tree shirt from GTA Vice City.
The Ultimate Edition: bonuses in every chapter
The Ultimate Edition adds bonuses threaded throughout Jason and Lucia's story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter, according to Rockstar.
On the vehicle side, it notably includes a '95 Grotti Cheetah with a retro-futuristic livery, a '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy built for Mount Kalaga's off-road trails (stored at the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay), a Shitzu Squalo boat docked at Washington Beach and, for Jason, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest Kayak.
It also offers personalized weapons: the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, with stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate, and engraved versions of Jason's Girardi ES9 and Lucia's Klose K17 pistols.
Businesses only open with the Ultimate Edition
Several businesses are only open with the Ultimate Edition, Rockstar notes. Rideout Customs turns cars into works of art with exquisite rims, and One-Eyed Willie's in Lake Leonida specializes in off-road builds.
For your look, Sara's Unisex Salon offers hairstyles, facial hair and makeup, Stock 305 exclusive streetwear, and Electric Fang Tattoo over 50 tattoos designed by the artist collective FAILE, both in Stockyard.
The edition also includes the Goodtime Gear apparel collection, a raid on the PTT Youngin$ gang compound, and a special commission from Wyman, an eccentric collector, to track down and restore classic cars.
What we don't know yet
Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version or an end date for the pre-order bonus. This guide doesn't list prices: they depend on the store and the country, so check your console's store.
We also don't know exactly when in the story the Ultimate Edition bonuses unlock: Rockstar only mentions items uncovered chapter by chapter.
