GTA 6 Universe is a fan project — no account is required to browse its content.

The site uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your chosen language and the secrets you've marked as found. This information stays on your device and is never sent to any server.

If you create an account, we use Supabase Auth for authentication: your email address, a username, and a password (encrypted by Supabase, never stored in plain text or visible to us) are then kept. The legal basis for this collection is the performance of the service you requested — creating and managing your account (GDPR art. 6.1.b). Your found secrets and notes are then linked to this account rather than to your browser alone, so you can find them again on another device. This data is kept for as long as your account exists; you can delete it at any time from the My Account page, which immediately and permanently erases your account, progress, and notes.

The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance. Neither tool sets a cookie or tracks visitors across sites. Vercel Analytics identifies a visit using a hash computed from the request (including the IP address), automatically deleted after 24 hours; page-level statistics (URL visited, referrer, approximate country/region, device and browser type, timestamp) are kept in aggregate, with no direct link to an identified person. Vercel Speed Insights keeps no identifier at all: it measures load times and performance indicators (country, device, browser, network speed), with no way to reconstruct an individual's browsing. In the absence of a cookie or similar tracker stored on your device, no prior consent is required under the ePrivacy rules; this notice provides the information required under the GDPR.
