GTA 6: Shirrako's Palm Tree Emoji Proves No Review Copy

Shirrako posted a palm tree on X; GTA BOOM says it doesn't prove he has a GTA 6 copy. Rockstar has confirmed nothing.

Rumor: YouTuber Shirrako posted a lone palm tree on X, and some fans read it as proof he is getting an early copy of GTA 6. According to GTA BOOM, nothing backs that up. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have confirmed nothing.

What the post shows

The post is a single emoji with no text, GTA BOOM points out, and the outlet calls reading it as a hint a huge reach. It does concede that Shirrako's channel carries weight: around 2.6 million subscribers and more than 2.2 billion views, built on full no-commentary playthroughs in 4K and beyond.

The creator has already announced a large slate of GTA 6 coverage: the main story, side missions, a 100 percent guide, NPC testing and ambience videos, all captured on PS5 Pro, per GTA BOOM. A channel that size is the kind of partner the studio might approach, the outlet suggests.

Where review copies stand

Insider NateTheHate has said Rockstar is expected to send review copies before the end of October, and reports mention an embargo lift around November 18, the day before launch, GTA BOOM reports. None of it is official.

The outlet also relayed earlier claims that Rockstar would not send review codes and would impose heavy restrictions. Earlier in the year, only a small group of creators was invited to Rockstar North to watch extended gameplay, without touching the controller.

Why a public hint looks unlikely

According to GTA BOOM, publishers who seed early builds watermark the codes to trace leaks, set strict embargoes and keep the list short. Those copies come with confidentiality agreements: a creator holding one would not tease it to millions of followers and risk being cut off. That is the outlet's view, not an established fact.

What we still don't know

No source confirms that Shirrako received anything, or that Rockstar has started sending copies. To follow the story, browse our GTA 6 news and our interactive map of Leonida, and follow GTA 6 Universe on X.
