A convoy of six to eight vehicles modified to look like GTA 6 cars has been spotted in Miami and Key Biscayne, according to GTA Boom and Insider Gaming. Among them is a Lamborghini Huracán in Vice City police markings. Rockstar has said nothing about it.
What witnesses filmed
Sightings cluster around October 15 and 16, per GTA Boom. The cars wore Leonida plates, the fictional state standing in for Florida, with body kits, wraps and badging copying specific in-game models.
GTA Boom lists a McLaren dressed as a Progen Emerus, a classic Ferrari playing the Grotti Cheetah and a pair of Albany muscle cars, one in green with gold wheels. Insider Gaming separately mentions a Coquette, GTA's take on the Corvette, wrapped in Vice City livery, shared on X by GTASixInfo.
Who is behind the cars?
Several reports credit the builds to West Coast Customs, the shop Rockstar has worked with before, according to GTA Boom. The outlet adds that the donor cars are best guesses drawn from the videos, since Rockstar has published no official list.
Insider Gaming places the stunt within a run of promotional moves ahead of the November 19 launch, citing a Vice City-themed blimp and a stadium takeover. In 2013, GTA Boom recalls, Rockstar had a GTA V Banshee built from a Dodge Viper and given away as a contest prize.
What we don't know yet
Rockstar has confirmed neither the stunt nor the exact car count: sources say six to eight vehicles, and tallies vary. Do these cars resemble what players will actually drive? Nothing says so for now. Browse our arsenal of vehicles and follow GTA 6 Universe on X for what comes next.
